A recent survey of institute participants conducted by our marketing department indicated a desire for more training in energy efficiency and green projects. Since this is pretty wide open territory is there something more specific folks would like to see offered as an afternoon workshop at an institute?

I would be happy to put together a class or classes on this topic. I have been operating the DOE Weatherization Program since 1984. I have been training and mentoring everyone from the State of Maryland's QC staff, to local agencies in order to ramp up as well as mentoring the community college trainers who have feably attempted to teach something that they have never done. I also have somehow been volunteered without my knowledge to mentor BPI students who have been shadowing me to learn. I was doing it as a gesture of good will to help those looking for work in the GREEN field. I had no idea that the students where then asked to pay on top of that in order to get their certificate. It became a GREED program very quickly and too many are jumping in for the wrong reasons. Let me know, as this is when I want to give back for many years of a job I did and enjoyed, before it became "in style".

Thanks Vince. At this time, I know non-profits do not have access to RD's loan origination software, UniFi. I'm not sure how much we've discussed the issues of access to CAIVRS in the 502 course.
