Heard a great tip from a dynamic urban Realtor this week: get a Facebook page for your neighborhood and friend all of your Realtors, then post status updates about great things in the neighborhood. It keeps them up to date and feeling positive about your neighborhood. I know Belair-Edison in Baltimore does that - anyone else use Facebook to promote your neighborhood?

I like this idea, if you start a "fan page" for your neighborhood that's another way to increase visibility of your community activities. NeighborWorks Rochester uses Facebook to promote neighborhood activities & events, and to raise awareness of positive stories in our neighborhoods.
