The Leaders for Communities website was developed by NeighborWorks America in order to foster dialogue among established and emerging leaders in the community development field. All opinions expressed on this website are those of the individual members and do not necessarily reflect the positions or policies of NeighborWorks America.

This website provides a place for members to share a variety of diverse perspectives, thoughts, and experiences related to the community development field and our nonprofit work in communities. It is therefore important that all members follow the guidelines below in order to maintain a constructive and considerate online community.

Be Respectful. Members are encouraged to express differing points of view, but please do so with respect. Any comments containing insults, obscenities, or other derogatory language will be deleted. Additionally, any member posting these types of comments may be removed from the community at the administrator's discretion.

Stay on Topic. This site is intended for sharing ideas and experiences in community development. All discussions, photos, videos, and other content should be relevant to this field. Any inappropriate or off-topic content may be removed at the administrator's discretion. Postings that include unsolicited commercial or advertising material are prohibited and will be removed. The administrator also retains the right to remove the member that posts such materials from this online community.

Protect Your Privacy. Comments and pages on this website are visible to the public. Be careful not to reveal personal information including email addresses, mailing addresses, or telephone numbers.

Link with Care. When including links to other websites, members should check to make sure that content is relevant and appropriate. NeighborWorks America is not responsible for the content of any linked website, and the inclusion of any link does not imply endorsement by NeighborWorks America of that site.

NeighborWorks America's Rights: NeighborWorks America reserves the right to use any comments or content posted to the Leaders for Communities website in promotional and marketing materials. NeighborWorks America reserves the right to delete any comments or content at any time. Members who violate community guidelines may be removed from the community.
