Make Your Own Rain Barrel

With summer here you might want to make your own rain barrel for water collection and irrigating your garden or plantings. Here's a simple and easy way for the "how-to" for this project courtesy of a great website called GreenBuildingAdvisor.com.

Dale- I'm trying to figure out which courses I need to take to get my Greening Certificate and I noted that CP240, the course I took in Chicago is not on the list. Can it substitute for one of the other courses? Also, I'm planning on the PA trip next year. Do you know, yet, what will be available for course work then? Thanks for any info you can send my way!

Great. Looking forward to a lively exchange. The local debate lately rages around the wording for the new guidelines around mechanical ventilation. Still looking for the definitive system for super-insulated ultra-tight homes without going for a full-blown heat exchanger. But I'm sure plenty of issues will be forthcoming. Congrats on setting this up.
