I have spent the past nine years working in the non-profit arena as a housing and economic development specialist. I have served the low to moderate income population in various capacities over the past nine years. I have obtained solid experience , various skills, and training which have assisted me in my efforts of combating the barriers to affordable housing, social and economic growth that this population has encountered. My most recent position was with Acorn Housing as the Office Director for Atlanta Georgia. I currently serve as a member of the Georgia Task Force for Foreclosure Prevention. Prior to working in the non profit sector, I worked in the private sector in finance, as a mortgage specialist and a small business consultant.
