Ms. Miller has been responsible for NeighborImpact’s program and resource development since 1986. She has over 30 years of work experience in community organization, program development, governance capacity building and administration of human service agencies. She and NeighborImpact’s staff have received national recognition for the development of the Bill Healy Family Housing Center, which provides transitional and supportive services for homeless families. Project awards include FannieMae Foundation’s “Maxwell Awards of Excellence Program”, Affordable Housing Tax Credit Coalition’s “Tax Credit Excellence Award”, Oregon Housing & Community Services Department’s “Excellence in Community Services Award” and the Metropolitan Life Foundation Award for Excellence in Affordable Housing. She was awarded the “Spirit of Community Action Award this month by the Community Action Partners of Oregon for her work in furthering opportunities for low income persons and her advocacy efforts.
